Cyzmic CS is a broad-use, microencapsulated suspension concentrate containing 9.7% lambda cyhalothrin. Featuring cutting-edge CapVantage Technology, Cyzmic’s 11,500 capsules per square inch are structured to release the active ingredient by disruption or diffusion. Disruption releases the active ingredient immediately, whereas the speed of diffusion is dependent on the porosity and thickness of the capsule wall. Having capsules with a matrix of thinner and thicker walls allows immediate release of some capsules for swift knockdown effect, while some of the capsules diffuse over a period of weeks — giving a long-lasting residual. Cyzmic CS may be used in a variety of applications, including in, on and around residential and commercial buildings, lawn and perimeter, on ornamentals and in animal housing. This low-odor formulation controls spiders as well as other tough pests, like bed bugs, flies, fleas, ticks, scorpions and many more.
