RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, announces Camille Gipson as global Marketing Excellence and professional brand communication manager for the Marketing Excellence team at the Environmental Science headquarters in Lyon, France.

In her new post, Gipson is responsible for managing the Marketing Excellence program, including the further global implementation and training, as well as the communication to the broader Bayer community. Gipson will also be responsible for managing the development of new branding and product communication packages for the Professional Pest Management business.

Most recently, Gipson served as marketing communications manager, where she managed digital and public relations initiatives and agency relations for the pest management, turf and ornamental, and consumer lawn and gardening businesses of Environmental Science.

Gipson graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo with a bachelor’s of arts degree in communication, with concentrations in public relations and advertising. She joined Bayer in 2005 and held various positions in marketing and marketing communications.

“I have always dreamed of the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally while experiencing a new culture and lifestyle in another country,” Gipson says. “I feel so honored to work for an organization that fosters this kind of individual development—I’m excited to play an integral role as Bayer continues to build and strengthen its global Marketing Excellence program, plus our branding and product communications.”
