PHILADELPHIA—The Bayer team continues its Maxforce on a Mission initiative in Philadelphia, where they recently teamed up with two pest control companies to treat two homes in the north Philadelphia area. These homes are regularly supported by Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, an organization that provides critical home repairs, modifications and improvements for Philly’s low-income homeowners.

As part of the mission in Philadelphia, pest management professionals (PMPs) from the following companies used their skills and expertise to provide complementary pest control services to help improve the livelihoods of homeowners in an underserved community:

·         Jim Nase, Service Manager, Moyer Indoor Outdoor

·         Joe Silvestrini, President, Pest Control Technicians

“We are so grateful for the opportunity to have partnered with Moyer, Pest Control Technicians and Rebuilding Together Philadelphia for this treatment to truly provide the homeowners with the care and service they needed,” said Ray Daniels, product marketing manager for Bayer’s Professional Pest Management Business. “Through our work with Maxforce on a Mission, we hope to continue raising public awareness of this societal value of professional pest management.”

To assist the PMPs in their mission, Bayer donated various Maxforce products for the pest control services. An additional event is scheduled to take place in Phoenix in the coming weeks, where local PMPs will participate in a similar community service project.

PMPs and other organizations are encouraged to learn more about Maxforce on a Mission and how to get involved through the campaign website. A larger, more comprehensive update will be shared with the industry at this year’s NPMA PestWorld in Phoenix.
