npma_m-logo300FAIRFAX, VA—The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has launched a new online community network, My.NPMAPestWorld.org, to allow its members easy opportunities to network with one another, participate in discussions, share resources, and access tools and resources.

My.NPMAPestWorld.org is designed to serve two distinct purposes,” explains NPMA CEO Bob Rosenberg. “Not only is it intended to be NPMA’s own social network, it is also intended to provide our members with access to a library of tools and resources that will provide solutions for our members’ businesses.”

Sponsored by BASF, My.NPMAPestWorld.org offers NPMA members the following business solutions:

  • Business Operations Surveys
  • Sample Charts of Accounts
  • Access to Professional Pest Pictures
  • Model Contracts
  • Marketing Brochures
  • Articles on Pest Control Strategies
  • State Legislative and Regulatory Resources

“The new MyNPMA site will highlight a collaboration between the NPMA and BASF that is solely focused on making the pest management professional more aware, more informed and more successful in the long term,” says Dan Carrothers, marketing manager for BASF Specialty Products Division. “BASF has supported the NPMA in various ways — sponsorships, memberships, training — over the past several years, and we’re proud to be part of this next endeavor.”

Rosenberg explains that communities have been created for all NPMA committees, but “one of the best features of this site is that any NPMA member can create a community based on a topic of interest and invite other like-minded members to participate. Through these interactions, NPMA will have better insight into the topics and issues that are important to our members, allowing us to better serve our membership’s needs.”
