Altland Joins Bell Laboratories

MADISON, WI—Kelley Altland has joined Bell Laboratories as its New England technical sales representative, representing Bell products to distributors and pest management professionals (PMPs) in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and upstate New York. She is based near Hartford, Conn.

Altland works with Bell distributors on the use and promotion of Bell’s rodent control products, and advises them on developing new markets for products. She also assists them in setting up training programs for their sales staff and local technicians. As added support to distributors and pest control companies, Altland provides technical assistance on pest control strategies and solutions.

Prior to joining Bell, Altland worked as a technical sales representative for Southern States Cooperative where she managed and established a customer base in the New England region selling animal feed products. Her accounts, which included customers such as farm store chains and Agway, relied upon her expertise to determine appropriate feeds and health products for a variety of animals.

Altland earned a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa., in 2002. She started her career with Land O’Lakes Purina Feed.
