LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—Cooper Pest Solutions has received a 2014 NJBiz Magazine Business of the Year Award, in the 51-to-100-employee category. In 2013, Cooper Pest CEO Phil Cooper was recognized by the magazine as the Corporate Citizen of the Year.
“Congrats to the greatest team a CEO could have,” says Cooper. “I would also like to congratulate all of the other finalists in the 51-100 employee category who presented very formidable competition for the award, and we look forward to competing for the award again next year.”
The panel of four judges were said to have been impressed with the firm’s innovation, flexibility, perseverance and use of technology. Cooper was recognized for pushing the envelope with innovative services in the world of bed bugs and mosquitoes, harnessing a highly motivated employee base to capture these markets.
With 300 guests in attendance, the NJBiz awards dinner also featured an address by New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno.
