joekennedy_300Joseph Kennedy, vice president of Arrow Exterminating Co., Lynbrook, N.Y., has decided to retire effective April 24, 2015, after 55 years of service and leadership. Kennedy was hired by Bernard Stegman as a technician in August 1960. Even after his retirement, though, he plans to still be available as a resource for the current owners (and Stegman’s daughters), Jackie Grabin and Debby Tappan.

Kennedy has worked in every department at Arrow during his 55 years on the job, including service manager, sales manager and vice president.

“Arrow has come a long way since 1960, and Joe has been a guiding force through all of our transformations,” notes General Manager Bob Wiemer. “His perspective and wisdom is truly unique as he has been around to see the company and industry grow, in no small part due to his contributions.”
