Batzner logoSince 2010, Batzner Pest Control has experienced a few changes, including expansion into new markets and rapid growth as the company approaches its 70th anniversary. The New Berlin, Wis.-based company has earned a spot in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces list for the fifth time in six years.

“The growth and positive change we’ve experienced in the past five years is a product of the legendary service our team members provide every day,” says Jerry Batzner, president and CEO. “If team members feel valued and we’re connected with what’s important to them, they’ll certainly be engaged with the company and our customers.”

As a family-owned company, Batzner Pest Control has created an atmosphere where employees feel like family. The company encourages a work/life balance and provides a well-rounded
compensation and benefits package.

The Batzner team has grown since the company won its first Top Workplaces award: In the past five years, Batzner has added 40 new employees.

As the saying goes, the family that plays together stays together. Batzner keeps its employees involved outside of the workplace through a series of community outreach and social events. Batzner team members and their families get together at regular employee outings and are often seen representing the company at community events like Relay for Life, New Berlin Safety Saturday and Autism Speaks.

“As a company, we’ve always valued being active in the community — and our employees champion that through their involvement in community and charity events,” Batzner says. “We’re honored to once again receive this award and be recognized among so many great workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin.”
