Dow names Hanson to lead ActiveSense brand

Mike HansonMike Hanson has been named product manager for the ActiveSense Remote Monitoring System under development by Dow AgroSciences. Hanson joined the company last year as a commercial project manager for its U.S. Pest Management Business. In his new role, Hanson will oversee planning, market research, marketing and communications for ActiveSense, a technology for remote monitoring and recording of pest activity.

Hanson joins Dow AgroSciences from Caisson Laboratories, where he served in sales, marketing and market development roles. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology from BYU.

“We’re very pleased to have Mike leading the charge of commercial development of this new and novel technology,” says Dave Maurer, portfolio market leader. “Mike’s background, as well as his work in our Commercial Leadership Development program, make him an excellent fit to guide our commercialization efforts.”
