NPMA GivesPearl City, Hawaii-based Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions is the recipient of the 2015 National Pest Management Association’s NPMA Gives Award.

“Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions embodies everything that this program is about,” says NPMA President-elect Russ Ives. “Whether it is hosting golf tournaments to provide scholarships to students in their local schools, sponsoring a monthly Pet of the Month for the local SPCA or donating a replacement generator to that same SPCA so that no important services would be interrupted, this company commits to its community in numerous ways and, as a result, has had a significant impact.”

NPMA launched the NPMA Gives program in 2014 to recognize members who have gone above and beyond in their community philanthropy. Each company who signs up for the program commits to contributing a minimum of 1 percent of its annual profit — through financial contributions, product and service donations or community service efforts. The NPMA Gives award recognizes one of the companies who has gone above and beyond with its philanthropic service.
