Turner Pest Control, Jacksonville, Fla., is participating in the Dream Finders Homes house construction project at EverBank Field, home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. The company donated its comprehensive termite pretreatment services for the brand-new home, which is inside Gate 4 at the Fan Entertainment Zone at the stadium. The home will be on display for two years before being moved off-site and donated to a local military veteran.

Turner Pest Control has worked closely with the home-building industry for more than four decades, and with Dream Finders Homes for many years.

“Once we knew about the project, we didn’t hesitate to offer our product and services free of charge,” says Mark Slater, CEO of Turner Pest Control. “It’s the perfect opportunity for us to put our support of our community, our city’s team and our nation’s veterans into action.”

Termite pretreatment is one of Turner Pest Control’s most important services, according to Turner’s COO Peter Steinmetz.

“Few people realize that subterranean termites cause more damage to homes in Florida than hurricanes, tornados and floods combined,” Steinmetz says. “The termite pretreatment service and product that we’ve donated to this project provides a $1 million termite warranty on this future home of a local military veteran. We’re very proud to have been able to take part in this special project.”

Turner Pest Control has been a partner of the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2014. The company sponsors the Gatlin T-shirt gun during the first half of game play, and has a booth in the Fan Entertainment Zone with giveaways for attendees. Turner also regularly distributes free home game tickets to its customers, clients and employees.
