The new Fruit Fly Patrol combines a long-wave ultraviolet (UV) light — designed for fruit fly intensity preference — with insect decoys and chemical attractants, all specifically chosen to attract and capture fruit flies. The unit’s enclosure is designed for use in restaurants, nightclubs and other public spaces. It uses the proprietary Paraclipse Capture Cartridge, which the company says is long-lasting, clean and easy to replace. The product is certified for use in foodservice areas and is both UL-listed and CE-compliant.
