Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators acquired Alapestco Inc., a pest management company in Birmingham, Ala.

Arrow Exterminators of Atlanta acquired Alapestco Inc., a pest control company located in Birmingham, Ala. The deal allows Arrow to increase its presence in the central-Alabama region and better serve customers in the area.

“We are so pleased to welcome the customers and team members of Alapestco,” said Arrow Exterminators President and CEO Emily Thomas Kendrick. “Their commitment to the community and passion for customer service makes them a perfect fit for Arrow.”

Alapestco will operate as Stark Exterminators, an Arrow Exterminators company, among Arrow’s other offices in the Birmingham market.

“We are proud to join a fellow family-owned and operated company and be a part of the Arrow family,” said E.T. Hollander, co-owner of Alapestco. “We were looking for a company that would provide our team members with many growth opportunities and an expanded range of services to offer our customers.”

Arrow Exterminators, a family-owned and operated business since 1964, is the sixth-largest pest control company in the United States. It actively seeks to merge with companies that share its goals, principles and culture.
