Rollins promotes Kelley-Tunis

Kim Kelley TunisRollins Inc. has promoted Kim Kelley-Tunis, ACE, BCE, to director of quality assurance and termite claims effective Jan. 1.

“Kim’s knowledge and experience are incredibly valuable and will help the company move forward with quality assurance and claims initiatives,” says Chris Gorecki, vice president of operational support for Rollins. “We are very excited to have her on the team.”

Kelley-Tunis started with Orkin in July 2009 as the Atlantic Division technical services manager. In 2012, she was promoted to technical services director.

She started her pest management career as a research assistant for Purdue’s Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management, where she researched the biology, behavior and control of multiple ant species and developed control strategies and products for the German cockroach, cat flea and subterranean termite.

Following her career at Purdue, Kelley-Tunis joined McCloud Services first as a service supervisor, then a technical specialist and finally as the director of education and training.

Kelley-Tunis is active in the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and serves on a number of committees, including the Technical Committee, Commercial Committee and Professional Women in Pest Management. She is the immediate past president of the professional pest management fraternity Pi Chi Omega. She and her two children, Andrew and Kaelan, reside in Buford, Ga.
