VPMAOnlineThe Virginia Pest Management Association (VPMA), the nearly 70-year-old trade association for pest management companies in Virginia, has relaunched VPMAOnline.com. It was created by BCS Website Services.

“More people today, including the largest groups in our target audience – consumers in Virginia and the staff and technicians of our member companies – are relying on their smartphones to access the internet,” notes VPMA President Beth Duncan. “Now, our website is mobile friendly.”

With the responsive HTML design, visitors do not have to resize to read an item, and can access the website on the go. Consumers will find information about the extensive training that VPMA provides to pest management professionals in Virginia; including lists of technicians who have been certified as a VPMA WDI Inspector or who have earned the VPMA Master Technician designation. In addition, consumers can find member pest control companies in their area, and pest identification and prevention resources. Consumers can also find information about the VPMA dispute resolution and mediation service.

“Our investment of money, and especially our time, was absolutely worth the results,” says David Outhous, Chair of VPMA’s IT Committee. “In addition to the ease with which readers can navigate through our website, the mobile accessibility was a necessity. With Google’s announcement earlier this year that it would target any unresponsive websites from mobile-based searches, it became critically important to update our website with this mobile feature. The team at BCS Website Services did a remarkable job of marrying our needs with their design recommendations and technical proficiency to create a new web design that we are absolutely happy with.”
