Top 10 universities for entomology released: University of Florida ranked No. 1

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) ranked and scored the world’s top 10 universities for entomology, with the University of Florida topping the list.

According to the CWUR, data is obtained from Clarivate Analytics to measure the quality of education and training of students, as well as the prestige of the faculty members and the quality of their research, based on the number of research articles in top-tier journals. The CWUR ranks the top degree-granting institutions of higher education in 227 subject categories.

The CWUR ranked the following universities for the subject of entomology, as well as scored them by using the Science Citation Index Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index databases:

The University of São Paulo in Brazil and Nanjing Agricultural University in China were given a score of 86.74, ranking them both at No. 9.
