Start telling the good story about pesticide benefits to customers

Every pest management professional (PMP) has a career's worth of stories to tell about how his services saved the day and gave customers peace of mind. While these stories of experience have great appeal when told over a cold beer during the annual convention, they also have great power when told to influence public policy about pesticide use and the necessity of pest management.

No benefit? No need? ... No way! Pesticides are essential IPM tools.

Do you believe promoting pest management and its tools is a righteous cause? Here at RISE, we believe it is. After all, where would we be as a society and as an industrialized nation without pest management and proven pesticides, baits and traps?

A second, less-told story is that of a willingness to ignore real threats and issues in favor of phantom problems.
