California company gains membership to bedbugFREE approved roster

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.—A-Pro Pest Control, of Cambell, CA is the most recent company approved for bedbugFREE membership. A-Pro joins an expanding national network pest management firms committed to the guidelines and practices of Bed Bug Central.

A-Pro Pest Control, Inc has serviced the San Francisco Bay Area since 1985. The PMP specializes in low-impact and environmentally sensitive applications. Already certified by the State of California for Structural and Agricultural Pest Control, A-Pro became bedbugFREE members and attended Bed Bug University to ensure their treatment protocols were as comprehensive as possible.

“We are now in a position to provide our customers with a long-term action plan that will prevent their properties from becoming infested with bed bugs,” said Chuck Payton, co-owner of A-Pro. “In addition we now have the proper documentation if litigation is ever needed.”

bedbugFREE is a network of “like-minded companies sharing the philosophies of Bed Bug Central”. All companies undergo a rigorous screening process overseen by research entomologists Rick Cooper and Jeff White. Approved companies are then listed as bedbugFREE on Bed Bug Central’s website and in turn, receive referrals as part of the bedbugFREE network. To date, the approval process and all business leads provided by Bed Bug Central are free of charge.

Bed Bug Central was created in response to inaccurate information available to pest management professionals treating bed bugs and consumers faced with bed bug issues. Their website serves as an information resource for professionals and consumers regarding bed bug products, research, prevention and treatment methodology.

As a bedbugFREE approved company, A-Pro Pest Control becomes a part of the growing network of pest management firms committed to Bed Bug Central treatment methods.

“California has no organization that is spearheading a formal philosophy on how to deal with the increasing bed bug problem. It was clear to us that after we met with Robert DiJoseph at Pest World this was something we where going to pursue,” said Payton.
