NPMA to Hold Bed Bug Symposiums
8 Jul, 2009 By: Pest management staff PMP Buzz Online eNewsletterFAIRFAX, Va. — The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) along with the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Association of Structural Pest Control Regulatory Officials and the National Apartment Association have partnered to present a Bed Bug Symposium & Marketplace.
The meetings will be held in two locations — Newark, N.J. on August 25 and Seattle. on August 27.
The Bed bug Symposium & Marketplace is designed to raise awareness and inform existing and potential commercial pest management customers how to deal with the difficult issue of bed bugs.
From identifying bed bugs and inspection techniques to public affairs and legal ramifications, the Bed Bug Symposium & Marketplace will provide management tips, both preventative and corrective, to help attendees make informed decisions and stay out of the newspaper and the courtroom.
The Marketplace is an added feature to give attendees the opportunity to learn more about products and services available to prevent and beat a bed bug infestation.
Hoteliers, public health and public housing employees, property managers and owners, college dormitory supervisors, cruise ship administrators, furniture rental facilities, hospital administrators, and anyone working with housing the general public should attend.
