As the person who plays the master of ceremonies of Pest Management Professional's (PMP) Hall of Fame Induction, I always await the decision of our Hall of Fame committee each year with breathless anticipation.

Each class brings its own story to the program, about contributions, big and small, that these industry legends provided this great industry of ours. I wonder what compelling stories and biographies each ensuing class will bring to my attention.

I'm proud to say the PMP Hall of Fame Class of 2008 doesn't disappoint on that front by a long shot, and I will be honored to be on the same stage with them to induct them into the hall, bringing the total number to 49.

Please join me in welcoming the following members of the industry into this prestigious group of industry luminaries:

• Harvey Massey, chairman of the board and chief executive officer (CEO) of Maitland, Fla.-based Massey Services.
• Norm Goldenberg, senior vice president of government affairs and industry relations at Memphis-based Terminix International.
• Bobby Corrigan, rodent expert, industry educator and owner of RMC Consulting in Richmond, Ind.
• Our editors have chosen Mark Lacey, a longtime industry educator, technical director for NPMA and the Delaware Pest Control Association (DPCA) and active member of several different national associations, as our posthumous inductee.

We’re honored to have the opportunity to induct yet another stellar class to the Hall of Fame. Our thanks go out to all of you who took the time to nominate pest management professionals (PMPs) for the honor and offer our congratulations to this year's honorees.
