FPMA Announces New Board Members, Award Winners
7 Jul, 2006 PMP Buzz Online eNewsletterORLANDO, Fla. — The 2006-07 slate of officers and directors for the Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA) was announced during the association’s recent convention, June 21-23, at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, Bonita Springs, Fla. Jennifer Leggett of Lindsey Pest Services in Jacksonville, Fla., leads the new FPMA board, assuming the role as association president during a swearing-in ceremony on June 23. In her acceptance speech, Leggett emphasized the importance of speaking with one voice for the industry and getting involved to make a difference, saying: “We have an opportunity to bring about positive changes on many fronts this year, and with your involvement we can do it — buckle up we’re in for a wild ride.” Leggett also announced her theme for the year: “What’s Your Dream and How Can FPMA Help You Achieve It?” Rounding out Leggett’s dream team of officers are:
