Congrats to Election-winning PMPs

In addition to seeing every candidate that the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) Political Action Committee (PestPAC) supported this election season win, there were several industry professionals who were elected to office.

The NPMA reports that the following candidates that PestPAC supported won their respective elections earlier this month:

  • Chris Collins (NY)
  • Rodney Davis (IL)
  • Bob Dold Jr. (IL)
  • Jeff Duncan (SC)
  • Stephen Fincher (TN)
  • Tom Graves (GA)
  • Brett Guthrie (KY)
  • Doug LaMalfa (CA)
  • Mick Mulvaney (SC)
  • Tom Rice (SC)
  • Tom Rooney (FL)
  • Kurt Schrader (OR)
  • Austin Scott (GA)
  • Tim Scott (SC)

In its recap, the NPMA also reports:

  • South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis, who also owns Home Pest Control in West Columbia, won a second term.
  • Rep. Mike Bernskoetter of Art’s Pest Control in Jefferson City, Mo., won re-election to the Missouri House of Representatives. He was also selected by his fellow House Republicans to serve as House Majority Caucus Secretary.
  • Delegate Linda Goode Phillips of Phillips’ Termite and Pest Control in Pineville, W.Va., won re-election to the West Virginia House of Delegates.
  • Senator Bill Sample of Pestco, Inc. in Hot Springs, Ark., won re-election to the Arkansas Senate.
