On Dec. 7, Kurt Scherzinger, vice president of operations for Cincinnati, Ohio-based Scherzinger Pest Control and a Pest Management Professional (PMP) columnist, was elected president of the Ohio Pest Management Association (OPMA) at the group’s Winter Meeting.

Scherzinger will serve a two-year term. He is the first, fourth-generation president of the (OPMA), following in the footsteps of his father, Steve; grandfather (and PMP Hall of Famer) Ed; and great-grandfather B.C. Scherzinger. He’s also the fifth member from Scherzinger Pest Control to be president of the association.

  1. It is great to have Kurt join his family heritage in leading the Ohio association. I look forward to his building on the current successes of OPMA and building his own direction. I wish him success and will support Kurt in his new leadership role.
