Mark Whorton, Owens Cross Roads, Ala., loves “The Old Fart,” aka a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger. He bought it from his uncle when he was 11, courted his wide in it in high school, and last year, when he decided to leave the family body shop business to open Whorton’s Pest Control, he put his company logo on it. “It’s a $30,000 business card, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” says Whorton, who can be seen in his classic everywhere from the drag strip to parades to the grocery store – and of course, pest inspections.
