Pete Gustin has joined Paynesville, Minn.-based Valley Industries as product manager for its Comet pumps and accessories in North America.
“Pete has many years of experience with the Comet brand, and a proven track record of sales growth and product development,” says Dan Savage, director of sales and marketing for Valley Industries.
Gustin got his start with Comet diaphragm pumps back in 1995, while working for his family business, UNICO Spray Products Corp. UNICO was instrumental in establishing Comet brand diaphragm pumps into the agricultural sprayer market. With its rapid growth, UNICO merged with Valley Industries in 2010. This merger provided the support and resources for Gustin to expand Comet diaphragm pumps into new industrial applications such as carpet cleaning, softwash and liquid rubber.
Valley Industries manufactures and distributes fluid handling components for pest control, lawn care, agriculture and other industrial applications.
