Bello wins CPCO of Georgia award

Paul Bello, center, is congratulated by his wife of 29 years, Mary Ann, and his mentor, Dr. Austin Frishman.

At the Certified Pest Control Operators (CPCO) of Georgia’s 19th annual fall conference, industry consultant Paul Bello was recognized with the Award of Excellence.

During the presentation, it was noted how Bello, of PJB Pest Management Consulting, had been an advisor to the association’s Board since its inception. He helped develop specialized seminars and create cooperative efforts with other organizations, including P.E.S.T. Relief International. Other accomplishments of this 41-year industry veteran include:

• Founding the Dr. Austin Frishman Endowment Scholarship at Purdue University in 1994
• Speaker at the International Congress of Entomology
• Co-author, with PMP Hall of Famer and Chalk Talk columnist Dr. Austin Frishman, of The Cockroach Combat Manual
• Author of The Bed Bug Combat Manual
