ServiceMaster, a Fortune 1000 company, through its subsidiary, Terminix International Co. LP, has acquired the Atlanta-area pest control division of Inspect-All Services, headquartered in Conyers, Ga., from siblings Brian and Brandon Lunsford. Terms were not disclosed.
The Lunsford brothers acquired Inspect-All Services from their father in 2006 and rapidly grew it from a small operation to one of the Top 100 largest pest control firms in the United States. The company currently sits on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. The company’s impressive growth has been entirely organic, according to Paul Giannamore of The Potomac Co., investment banking advisor to the company.
Founded in 1984, Inspect-All Services will continue to operate under its current name. Not included in the sale was Inspect-All Services’ multi-state home inspection division, now called LunsPro Home Inspections, and its Jacksonville, Fla., pest control operation, now called Kingfish Pest Control. The Lunsford siblings will continue to own and operate those businesses.
“Our top priority was to make sure the acquirer’s core values aligned with ours so that our team and customers would be in good hands moving forward,” said the Lunsfords said in a press release. “After thorough research and many discussions with our advisor and the ServiceMaster team, we are confident that Inspect-All Services will continue to flourish under the new leadership.”
“One fundamental truth that I’ve learned over the course of decades advising and investing in businesses is that the culture of the organization directly stems from the owners,” Giannamore said in a press release. “From the minute I met Brian and Brandon, I understood why this business is on the Inc. 5,000 list of America’s fastest-growing businesses. I can’t imagine better partners for ServiceMaster than Brandon and Brian….These two will definitely be two guys to watch in the future, this won’t be their only Inc. 5000 business.”
