The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) — the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) — appoints John Myers, president of Rentokil Steritech, and Matt Stevenson, president of Residential Services for Terminix International, to its executive committee.

Myers joined PPMA as an at-large member of the board in 2017. He will succeed industry veteran Victor Hammel as vice chairman of the executive committee when Hammel retires from the industry at the end of this year.

Hammel, founding member of PPMA’s board of directors and PMP Hall of Famer (Class of 2011), earned the nickname “The Hammer” for his relentless fundraising efforts on the board.

Stevenson has been in his role with Terminix for several years and has also held leadership positions in the NPMA and PPMA prior to this appointment, including as an at-large member of the PPMA board.

Upon Hammel’s retirement, the executive committee will include:

  • Bobby Jenkins, chairman
  • John Myers, vice chairman
  • Matt Stevenson, vice chairman
  • John Wilson, vice chairman
  • Dominique Stumpf, CEO
  • Mike Rottler, treasurer
  • Cindy Mannes, executive director

PPMA continues to drive industry growth and positive public perception. The leadership of the PPMA board of directors is an integral part of the success of this initiative. For 22 years, our industry leaders have been the power that allows us to grow, promote, protect and defend your livelihood through PPMA,” says Cindy Mannes, executive director of the PPMA.

The board of directors of PPMA is comprised of representatives from pest management companies and the supplier community, committed to supporting the mission of PPMA.
