Speaker Joe Barile, BCE, technical service lead for the Bayer Pest Management & Public Health business, will delve into the importance of formulation choice. Choosing which product to invest in should not always be based on cost alone, and in many cases, choosing a premium formulation will deliver the best value in the integrated pest management (IPM) program.

The presentation will walk through the impact of current public opinion and regulatory trends, how this is affecting the pest professional’s insecticide portfolio on a global basis and examine what the near future looks like for insecticide development in the industry.

Barile holds a degree in entomology from the University of Massachusetts. He has been involved in urban and public health pest management since 1979, holding positions with major IPM product manufacturers, in public mosquito control, as a university extension entomologist, as a pest control technician and as the technical director of a multi-branch pest control firm.

“We are pleased to have Mr. Barile discuss with us the important topic of ‘Formulation Science’ and explore what the future holds for insecticide development in our industry. Pest professionals can hear firsthand how their product choices may impact their business success overall,” says David Helt, president of Target Specialty Products.

Pest professionals can register for the webinar free of charge here. Attendees are invited to ask questions at the conclusion of the webinar.
