Russell’s Pest Control was founded in 1971. Owners Mark and Vickie Nadolski took over from Vickie’s parents in 2011.
“With their people-focused approach to service, we felt an immediate fit with Mark and Vickie and their employees. We are extremely excited to bring the Russell’s team into our expanding family of pest management companies,” says John Myers, president and CEO of Rentokil North America. “The eastern and middle Tennessee markets’ population growth brings with it an expanded need for world-class pest control service. We look forward to broadening the range of services we can offer to Russell’s existing customers and are eager to introduce our brand to new residential and business customers in Tennessee.”
Russell’s provides general pest control, termite, mosquito, bed bug and encapsulation services to residential and commercial customers in the eastern and middle Tennessee markets. The company is QualityPro certified by the National Pest Management Association.
Mark and Vickie plan to retire, and Russell’s 34 employees will remain on board with Rentokil Steritech.
“In our quest for a partner, we employed a slightly different strategy from most of our contemporaries. While a fit for core values seems to be at the top of most companies’ wish list, we have always felt our core values to be ‘baked in’ and something likely to survive. Our focus was looking for a partner who could provide an abundance of opportunities for both personal and professional advancement for our existing staff,” says Mark Nadolski of the decision to sell to Rentokil Steritech. “We believe our decision to partner with Rentokil Steritech has fulfilled that desire. Vickie and I look forward to our retirement and the future successes of those who we have left to steer the ship.”
