Target to present award, launch product line at PestWorld 2019

For the sixth year in a row, Target Specialty Products is sponsoring the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) Women of Excellence Award, an honor open to women across the pest management industry, including pest management professionals, manufacturers and research organizations who demonstrate outstanding leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of the profession, their business and other women in the industry.

David Helt, Target Specialty Products’ president, will present the award to this year’s winner at PestWorld 2019.

“We are proud to be sponsoring this great event during the last several years, and it is an honor for us to present this award during the NPMA/PestWorld event,” says Helt.

Target Specialty Products will also feature their new product line of adjuvants known as Strike MAX at PestWorld. The company will launch the product during a breakfast reception at booth #1213 on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 10-11 a.m. In addition, technical experts will host Facebook Live product demos daily during exhibit hours. Strike MAX demos will take place on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Other happenings at the company’s booth include:

  • An opportunity to win a set of Apple Air Pods.
  • A happy hour sponsored by Bayer and Liphatech scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 4-5 p.m.
  • Sales of B&G pink cap sprayers on Friday, Oct. 18 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds from every purchase will go to the Breast Cancer Association.

Serving the entire United States and Canada from more than 40 facilities, Target Specialty Products is a distributor of pest control and turf and ornamental products, application equipment, supplies, services, education and training programs.
