The donation will benefit families of the Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA), the Certified Pest Control Operators of Georgia and the general Georgia pest control industry that have been affected by catastrophic or life changing events.

“I am beyond delighted to have Arrow be a part of such a great cause and organization,” says Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO and president of Arrow Exterminators. “We are so thankful for the opportunity to donate to a foundation that helps families when they need it most.”

The GPCA established the foundation in 2017. Arrow team member Alyson Gilleland was one of the founding members.

“The Leadership Program championed creating a charity that benefitted members of our organization who had suffered a tragic loss,” states Gilleland. “The conversation started when some of our members of the GPCA had gone through similar events where they had lost absolutely everything.”

In early July, Brett Craig and Pasha Simpson, two of Arrow’s team members, hosted a Hands United Foundation Celebration, where they raised money with games, food and a great location for Fourth of July fireworks in Woodstock, Ga. They raised more than $500 in donations.

Arrow Exterminators also supported the foundation by sponsoring a golf tournament hosted by GPCA. A portion of the proceeds benefitted the Hands United Foundation.

“To me this is a wonderful opportunity to help our friends and peers in a time of need,” says Craig, Arrow University training manager. “You never can plan for a life event, but with Hands United, we can help serve families in our industry and community at any moment. I am proud that all of us at Arrow Exterminators and the GPCA leadership have come up with this program.”
