Control Solutions Inc. (CSI) unveiled its Doxem Precise dry flowable bait for cockroaches, ants, crickets and other pests, and related Precision Delivery System (PDS), at PestWorld 2019. Dr. Janis Reed, CSI’s technical services manager for pest control operations; Jeremi Farrar, regional manager for Lafayette, La.-based J&J Exterminating Co.; and Raleigh Jenkins, president of Houston-based ABC Home & Commercial Services, participated in a panel discussion in which they called the combination of CSI innovations a “game changer,” especially for eliminating German cockroach populations at troublesome commercial accounts. Raleigh Jenkins said he rarely uses the phrase “game changer” when it comes to describing pest control products, but he is adamant that Control Solutions Inc.’s (CSI’s) new Doxem Precise dry flowable bait and related Precision Delivery System (PDS) are just that.

“I don’t use the term ‘game changer’ often, but I’ll use it on this,” said Jenkins, president of Houston-based ABC Home & Commercial Services, while participating in a product launch panel at PestWorld 2019. “Termidor was a game changer. Gel baits were a game changer. … The newest game changer is Doxem Precise and the Precision Delivery System.

“Our technicians used Doxem Precise and PDS at ‘code red’ cockroach accounts, and all agreed the innovative combo provides game-changing results,” Jenkins added. “Doxem Precise and the PDS represent the silver bullet allowing us to eliminate — not just control — German cockroach populations in troublesome commercial settings.”

Fellow panelist Jeremi Farrar, regional manager for Lafayette, La.-based J&J Exterminating Co., concurred.

“Doxem Precise and PDS take our industry to a new level of professionalism,” Farrar said. “I agree with Raleigh: This combo is a real game changer, the silver bullet for German cockroaches.”

Doxem Precise is non-staining. Equally important, the bait doesn’t harden or crust, and it withstands extreme temperatures outdoors and indoors.

The novel PDS is designed to dispense bait at a rate of 0.05 grams per 3 seconds of trigger time. For small voids, pest management professionals (PMPs) may dispense bait at a low rate of 0.05 grams per 3 seconds of trigger time, whereas for larger voids, they may dispense bait for up to 8 seconds, which delivers 0.15 grams of bait.

The Doxem Precise starter kit includes one PDS, a holster, plastic and metal applicator tips, and four 5-gram cartridges of quick-acting, long-lasting Doxem Precise bait featuring the active ingredient indoxacarb.

Jenkins and Farrar said Doxem Precise and PDS pay for themselves many times over by helping PMPs reduce callbacks and extend service intervals — sometimes from weekly to monthly — bolstering productivity and profitability.

Fellow panelist Dr. Janis Reed, CSI’s technical services manager for pest control operations, and panel moderator Tom Algeo, CSI’s pest control business director, added that Doxem Precise and PDS represent revolutionary, not just evolutionary, advancements in professional pest control.

Jenkins and Farrar said CSI embodied its mantra — “Innovation PMPs can apply” — with the PDS bait applicator, a durable handheld device that shoots dry flowable bait deep into cracks, crevices and voids where pests live and breed.

Jenkins said CSI’s Doxem Precise and PDS innovations make it possible to apply bait in commercial kitchens during daytime hours, even when food is being prepared and plated. This is a huge plus for both pest control companies and their commercial clients.

Jenkins, Farrar, Algeo and Dr. Reed noted other game-changing features of the Doxem Precise and PDS innovation combo, including:

  • Quick-acting: Achieve cockroach control in as few as three days.
  • Long-lasting: The dry flowable bait kills pests for more than one year.
  • Money-saving: Achieve more consistent, controllable bait application, while reducing material waste.
  • Labor-saving: Arm techs with control tools that empower them to tackle more jobs in less time.

“The German cockroach problem is gone in my world since we’ve been using Doxem Precise and the PDS,” Jenkins said.

“Get CSI’s Doxem Precise bait and PDS applicator now — before all of your competitors are using this game changer,” Farrar added.
