Orkin opens franchise in Bangladesh

Rollins Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary Orkin, expanded its presence in Asia with the addition of a new franchise located in Bangladesh.

“We are excited to expand our presence in the Asia Pacific region and believe that Bangladesh provides a great opportunity for us, as we continue to grow our Orkin brand internationally,” says Tom Luczynski, Orkin president of global development and international franchising. “Bangladesh will join Orkin franchises in India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Indonesia, Cambodia, South Korea, China (including Hong Kong and Macau) and Guam already established in the region.”

The Orkin brand is now represented in more than 60 countries through a network of more than 90 global franchises.

The new Bangladesh franchise will offer commercial and residential pest control, as well as termite services.

The franchisee received their initial training at the company’s Rollins Learning Center in Atlanta, Ga., and will receive follow-up training in their country.

“We have hit the ground running with the new Orkin Bangladesh franchise, and they just completed their first training at our Orkin training center in Atlanta,” says Luczynski. “We are proud to be their partner and look forward to helping them grow the business. We’ll continue to work on expanding our presence in the area and across Europe and Asia in the year to come.”

Founded in 1901, Atlanta, Ga.-based Orkin operates more than 400 locations with almost 8,000 employees.
