Versacor manager earns ACE certification

The ACE certification recognizes pest management professionals with strong experience in insect-related work and whose training in entomology has been achieved through continuing education, self-study and on-the-job experience. The Entomological Society of America administers the ACE program.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to further advance within the industry and hope that the knowledge gained in the process will prove valuable to Versacor in the future,” says Gates.

Gates joined Versacor in 2015 and was promoted to the position of total quality manager in January 2018. He holds a certified applicator license in multiple categories in six states.

As total quality manager, Gates manages Versacor’s overall quality program and conducts training of company personnel. In addition to providing initial service training to new associates, Gates maintains the ongoing training of branch personnel, which includes all specialized certifications. Acting as the safety officer of Versacor, Gates also works to ensure a safe working environment for all associates and manages Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance for the company.

Versacor is based in Southlake, Texas, and serves Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. The company was named one of the 2020 Best Companies to Work for in Texas for the third year in a row.
