Thomas Pest Services marks milestone with charity project

Thomas Pest Services, based in Schenectady, N.Y., is celebrating 10 years in business. At a Dec. 8 press conference, Bill Clark, ACE, and Sarah Thomas-Clark received a Certificate of Merit from Ariana Mattice-Lybrand, the district office manager from Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara’s office. The honor recognizes the couple’s “hard work, dedication, and support of the community these past ten years,” a news release noted.

Because Dec. 8 was also Giving Tuesday, the company also announced that it was asking customers to help support Toys for Tots all December long. For each new service provided to a customer, $10 of each sale will be donated to the nonprofit organization. Customers were also encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys, which could be dropped off directly at the Thomas offices, or given to any technician at time of service.

“Despite the pandemic, we’ve seen our largest growth this year,” Thomas-Clark said in the news release. “This is our fifth year being involved with Toys for Tots, and we’re really working hard to get our customers and employee families involved.”
