|  January 22, 2021

Arrow Exterminators, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., reflected on its successes in 2020, which included awards, acquisitions and team member promotions.

The company was recognized as a top workplace in Atlanta for the 3rd year in a row by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The company also received the honor of the No. 1 Top Workplace in the Large Companies category.

“Arrow Exterminators has a unique family-focused, entrepreneurial culture that is based on integrity and operating with transparency and a clear conscience,” said Shay Runion, chief human resources officer of Arrow Exterminators. “We want to partner with like-minded team members who are also focused on growth, who share our goals and principles, and our family culture. As our vision states, we want to hire, train and retain the best people and we know that the Top Workplaces distinction will help propel our recruiting efforts, and further strengthen our presence in the Atlanta Metro Area.”

Another honor was awarded to Arrow’s CEO, Emily Thomas Kendrick, who was named one of the Most Admired CEOs in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“I was truly honored to receive this prominent distinction this past year,” Kendrick said. “I would not be able to do what I do without all of our amazing 2,600 plus team members we have here at Arrow.”

In the beginning of August, the company held its first virtual Fiscal Year Kickoff meeting. More than 400 team members attended the two-day online event and celebrated achievements from the prior fiscal year including the milestone of achieving double-digit revenue growth for the tenth year in a row.

During 2020, Arrow Exterminators expanded into many new markets across the country. Acquisitions included DC Scientific Pest Control in Gardendale, Tuscaloosa, and Winfield, Ala., Cannon Pest Control in Auburn, Ala., Kelly’s Pest Control in Saraland, Ala., and Lewis Cobb Pest Control in Orlando, Fla. Arrow also opened four additional offices in the following cities to better support customers in those areas: Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Orlando, Fla., Port Charlotte, Fla., and Norcross, Ga.

“We are excited for the phenomenal growth we have seen in 2020,” said Tim Pollard, Arrow’s president and COO. “These new locations contribute to Arrow’s list of 137 service centers throughout the United States and is strategic to our growth objective of $300 million and beyond. We look forward to what is to come in 2021.”

The following team members were promoted in 2020: Tim Pollard was promoted to president and COO, and Mickey Thomas, Frank Roy, and Brannon Gillis were all promoted to senior VP of their departments.
