New England PWIPM to host leadership panel

Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) of New England will host a women’s leadership panel discussion for the pest control industry, titled “Forging New Frontiers: Women Leaders in the Pest Control Industry.”

The event will take place virtually through Zoom on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern.

The discussion will cover:

  • Career challenges over the years in the pest control industry
  • Skills needed to succeed
  • Wisdom for other aspiring female leaders in the industry
  • How the industry changed for women

Panelists include:

The event will be moderated by PWIPM of NE committee member Courtney Carace, ACE, COO of Pest-End Inc., Methuen, Mass. She has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and is a licensed and certified pest control operator in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. She has her bachelor of arts from College of the Holy Cross and began at Pest-End in 2004 as a part-time office administrator. She earned her National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association certification in 2010 and was a bed bug detector dog handler for several years. Together with her husband, Adam, and sister-in-law, Amanda Forrestall, CEO and CFO respectively, Carace runs the day-to-day operations of the second-generation family-owned business.
