Pelsis Group, the parent company of such industry brands as B&G and Curtis Dyna-Fog, has acquired Edialux France, which is considered to be France’s top pest control supplier with revenue of approximately $19 million. Based in Mâcon, France, Edialux has become a wholly owned subsidiary, with its customers, suppliers and 36 employees transferring to the Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, headquartered Pelsis Group. Terms were not disclosed.
According to a news release, the deal increases Pelsis Group’s annual revenue to nearly $207 million, and employing more than 500 people across 15 locations throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, China and the U.S. Established in the mid-1980s, Pelsis Group owns a portfolio of 10 professional and consumer brands and has more than 20,000 customers worldwide, including Rentokil, Ecolab, Screwfix and Amazon.
“We have enjoyed a good business relationship with Edialux France over a number of years. Both companies share similar business goals, values and aspirations for the future,” Pelsis Group CEO Andrew Milner said in the news release. “Due to the ongoing growth opportunities and the clear benefits of working together, we have decided now is the right time to fully align our businesses, enabling us to provide our customers with enhanced levels of product innovation, service and support.”
Edialux France Managing Director Serge Simon will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
