On July 9, FMC Professional Solutions will host its sixth webinar in its First Friday Training Series, through the FMC True Champions program.

“Flea & Tick Control” will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT. These pests can be a particular nuisance to humans by causing irritation and transmitting disease. They can also be harmful to pets, leading to anemia, tapeworm and infections. This webinar details the best practices and challenges for pest management professionals (PMPs) providing an integrated pest management (IPM) approach.

FMC Market Specialist Eric Ham will present the webinar. Based in Florence, Ky., and with a sales territory of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, Ham has been a pest market specialist of FMC products for more than a decade. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in entomology from the University of Kentucky.

PMPs who are interested in attending can register online. Those who register for the webinar will also be enrolled in FMC True Champions. The registration link is here.

Continuing education units (CEUs) can be earned in select states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, South Carolina, Utah, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. Additional states may be added.

Along with continuing education units (CEUs) for select states, attendees can participate the Q&A session immediately following the training session.

Future webinars hosted by the Philadelphia, Pa.-based manufacturer will feature industry speakers on a variety of categories for CEU credits for attendees to put toward a commercial applicator license. Upcoming topics will include invasive pests, among others.

The Training Series launched at the beginning of 2021 as part of FMC Corp.‘s celebration of the 25th anniversary of its Talstar insecticide registration.
