Insects Limited to host fumigation webinar June 23

On June 23, starting at noon Eastern, Westfield, Ind.-based Insects Limited will present a live webinar, “An Overview of Fumigation.” The speaker will be Jeff Waggoner, ACE,  who is VP and general manager of FSS Inc., a fumigation and integrated pest management (IPM) service company. He is Insect Limited’s 15th speaker in its free webinar educational series.

Waggoner has 28 years of experience “in protecting consumers, commodities, customers and brands through the safe and effective application of fumigants,” according to a news release. In the webinar, he will address the basics of fumigation and fumigants while discussing some innovative ways pest management professionals (PMPs) can leverage fumigation and incorporate it into their preventative approach to IPM. Specific topics covered include:

• Fumigation success stories and the case for fumigation
• What is a fumigant, and how is it different from other pesticides?
• What fumigants are available to use?
• What fumigant is right for me?
• The safe use of fumigants
• Different types of fumigant applications
• Ensuring you have a successful fumigation
