Knox Pest Control appoints two senior vice presidents

Blake Grimsley

Columbus, Ga.-based Knox Pest Control promoted Blake Grimsley and James Smith to newly created positions of senior vice presidents.

Grimsley is a 37-year veteran of the pest control business and has served many roles throughout Knox Pest Control.

In his current role as senior vice president of operations, Grimsley oversees the Georgia, South Carolina and Florida Panhandle regions of the company. He also oversees quality assurance, business analysis, risk management and the newly developed scheduling program for the company.

James Smith

Smith joined Knox Pest Control in 2006 and quickly moved through the ranks. He has served as a pest technician, termite technician, service manager and district manager. Most recently, Smith was the director of operations.

He has demonstrated success and an ability to implement guidelines throughout the company, according to a news release from Knox Pest Control.

Smith holds multiple licenses in the industry and oversees the Alabama, Mississippi and Florida regions for the company.

Sean Knox, president of Knox Pest Control, said both Grimsley and Smith have made considerable contributions to the company and played pivotal roles in initiative planning and success.

“These newly created positions show our commitment to team growth and our dedication to total customer service,” Knox said. “In their new roles, they will help oversee our regional vice presidents with ensuring growth and continued prosperity in the business. We look forward to their continued success and leadership.”
