Janelle Iaccino, marketing director, Rose Pest Solutions

Janelle Iaccino with Rose Pest Solutions will be honored as one of the 22 women executives at the 24th Annual Women in Business Awards and Recognition Event by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and its sponsoring partners.

The awards are presented to outstanding women executives who excel in business, civic and personal arenas. The honorees’ business must be located or have a major presence in the Business Ledger’s primary editorial coverage area of suburban Chicago, Ill.

Janelle currently holds the title of marketing director at Rose Pest Solutions.

She started at Rose Pest Solutions in Rockford, Ill., in 2005 as what she thought would be a short-term administrative position  answering office phones and dispatching service technicians. One month into the job, some sudden changes in management inadvertently left Iaccino holding the team together.

Now, 16 years later, Iaccino has fully embraced her interest in bugs and is known throughout Chicago as “The Bug Girl” on local radio and TV stations.

This year’s recognition is sponsored by Republic Bank and marketing partner is National Association of Women Business Owners – Chicago Area Chapter (NAWBO).

The awards will be presented virtually via livestream, and people can register online now.

Honorees will be profiled in a special issue of the Business Ledger on Dec. 10.
