Douglas Products hired Angela Tucker, BCE, as a field scientist for its research and development team, which is responsible for supporting the Liberty, Mo.-based company’s sulfuryl fluoride business.

Tucker has supported residential and commercial business for general pest control, wildlife, mosquito and tick service lines at a national pest management firm. She is a board-certified entomologist and a member of the Entomological Society of America (ESA) and the ESA’s Better Common Names Project.

Additionally, Tucker also supports ESA’s Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) programs and mentors CAE candidates. She is passionate about providing pest solutions, a news release regarding the announcement notes.

Heather Kern, commercial leader of the Douglas Products pest management division in North America, said Tucker will use her knowledge and expertise to analyze usage trends and provide field support to the company’s team, according to a news release.

“I’m very pleased to have Angela join our research team and support our Vikane and ProFume brands,” Kern said.
