The San Gabriel Valley District of the Pest Control Operators of California (PCOC) hosted an  end-of-the-year tailgate party at the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Finals in Pomona, Calif., on Nov. 13.

All of the attendees brought their families and enjoyed a day of food, fun and drag racing, according to a news release.

Nick Branca, of Bell Laboratories, helped sponsor the event and some raffle prizes, including two radio-controlled drag cars. California Pest Management and Choice Pest Control also donated food to the barbecue lunch from a local butcher shop.

All attendees received a yellow custom shirt for the event and PCOC was given a shoutout over the PA system by NHRA organizers during the event.

All proceeds of the event went to the local PCOC districts.
