Pest Tech Chattanooga is selling the “Tastefully Revealing Photo Calendar” for the new year.

During the summer of 2021, the company had a couple of photo shoots to create the calendar.

Dan Hekman, owner of Pest Tech Chattanooga, tells Pest Management Professional (PMP) magazine that the calendars were a way to give back to the community and have a little fun at the same time.

“Calendars like this have been done by firefighters and other crews, but I’ve never seen anyone in the pest management industry do this,” Hekman adds. “Making the calendar was fun for us, it’s a year-round laugh to hang on the wall, and it lets our customers see a different side of our team.”

The proceeds will be donated to two organizations in the region, Homes and Havens and Southeast Conservation Corps.

Homes and Havens creates healing spaces by partnering with local nonprofits to furnish the living spaces of individuals overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, sex trafficking and incarceration.

Southeast Conservations Corps builds on the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps by connecting people to the natural environment through conservation-based service learning, personal development and recreation.

The calendars can be purchased on the Pest Tech Chattanooga website.

Local purchases will be hand-delivered during the first 2 weeks of January. Out-of-town purchases can be shipped.

Hekman tells PMP the company hopes to do the calendars again in 2023 if there is enough of a response this year.
