Knox County, Tenn.-based Honorguard Pest Management acquired Bentley Pest and Property Services, a Tennessee-based pest management specializing in pest and termite service.

This will serve as Honorguard’s first acquisition in the Knox County, Tenn., metro area. It will allow Honorguard to expand on its full line of services, including termite, pest and mosquito services with its existing operation in Knoxville.

“We are very excited to welcome the Bentley Pest and Property Services team members and customers,” Jeff Hawley, president of Honorguard Pest Services, said. “Bentley’s reputation for customer service is a direct reflection of the experienced team they’ve built. We are now positioned for further expansion in and around the Knoxville metro area and surrounding counties.”

Bentley Pest and Property Services Owner Donnie Bentley added, “We are excited to be part of the Honorguard Pest Management team. It was important for us to know that our employees had a long-term career path, allowing them an opportunity for growth and advancement, plus have a broader range of benefits. Honorguard Pest Management checked all the boxes and with a family culture that mirrors ours.”

Honorguard Pest Management is continuously looking to merge with high quality companies who share its goals, principles and culture as it continues with its expansion efforts efforts throughout Tennessee, Georgia and beyond, according to a news release.

Joey Edwards of J. Edwards Services represented and acted as exclusive financial advisor to Bentley Pest and Property Services on the transaction.
