Atlanta, Ga.-based Northwest Exterminating hosted a “Teammate Appreciation Day” on Aug. 19 to celebrate and honor teammates throughout 50 service centers in the Southeast.

Teammates in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama came together at their local service centers for a day of celebration, food and quality time with their teams, according to a news release.

Each Northwest Exterminating service center manager was responsible for putting together activities, food and games for their Team Appreciation Day. Activities included hibachi catering, raffle tickets with prizes, food trucks and more. Each of the company’s teammates was also gifted a yearly Northwest Exterminating t-shirt.

“Without the extraordinary people that make up the Northwest Family, Northwest wouldn’t be Northwest,” said Stanford Phillips, co-president of Northwest Exterminating. “Our Team Appreciation Day is all about getting our teams together, having fun, and celebrating not only all they’ve done but all they continue to do make us better. We’re thankful to have teammates who care the way they do, about one another and about their customers.”

2022 is a busy year for Northwest Exterminating, with several acquisitions and the expansion of seven new locations into South Florida, expanding its reach in the Southeast and creating more “Customer for Life” experiences.

While Northwest Exterminating continues to grow, “its dedication and commitment to the vision to create extraordinary experiences remains the same and all begins by honoring and valuing each teammate,” according to the release. The company looks forward to hosting this Teammate Appreciation Day annually.
