BELFOR Franchise Group acquires Safer Home Services

Clearwater, Fla.-based Safer Home Services and Safer Home Services Franchise Systems have been acquired by BELFOR Franchise Group, a subsidiary of BELFOR Holdings, based in Ann Arbor, Mich.

BELFOR Franchise Group has more than 3,000 franchises across 11 different brands, and plans on making Safer Home Services a household name across America as its 12th brand.

With Pest Management Professional (PMP) Hall of Famer Chuck Steinmetz (Class of 2017) serving as chairman, Safer Home Services has experienced tremendous growth since its founding in 2014. It currently provides its signature Once-A-Year Pest Protection and innovative termite protection programs from three branches in Florida and a franchise in Atlanta, Ga. Safer Home Services will continue to operate with the present management team and team members, with Founder, President and CEO Jim Swayne serving as brand president.
