Jacksonville, Fla.-based Turner Pest Control, an Anticimex company, promoted Wade Wilson as the vice president of technical services.

Wilson has been a member of the Turner Pest Control team for 20 years, with 35 years of pest control experience. Wilson is an industry expert, having been featured in multiple professional pest control publications on several occasions, and is an Associated Certified Entomologist (ACE).

Wilson joined Turner Pest Control in 2003 as the commercial branch manager. During his time in this role, he was responsible for overseeing all commercial work and built the department from the ground up. He was instrumental in the growth of the commercial division, developing a multi-million-dollar branch with outstanding retention and overall customer satisfaction.

Wilson was promoted to technical director in 2018. During his time in the director role, he developed training programs and implemented policies to assist the service team. As Technical Director, he oversaw Turner’s SMART team and the activation of the Anticimex SMART program — described in the release as “a groundbreaking 24/7 digital rodent monitoring system available to both residential and commercial customers.”

“Wade is an essential member of our team,” Cheri Michaels, president of Turner Pest Control, said in the news release. “The expertise he brings to the table is unparalleled. We’re thrilled to announce his well-deserved promotion and look forward to his continued impact on our company.”

Wilson also recently added the fleet and safety teams to his department, increasing his team’s size and reach while continuing to promote high quality work and integrity.

“You will not find a more dedicated person than Wade Wilson. In my time working on his team, I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact that he has had on the company and the technical proficiency he brings to the company,” said Dustin Turner, technical advisor at Turner Pest Control.

In addition to cultivating a productive and safety-focused technical team, Wilson has developed vital industry relationships with vendors.

“Wade is an outstanding leader and mentor,” said Corey Meudt, an internal sales representative for BASF. “He has a wealth of industry knowledge that allows him to be a trusted advisor that many rely on. He will always steer those who approach him for assistance in the right direction.”

Throughout the company, Wilson is known for facilitating positive interdepartmental communications and collaboration.

“Wade continuously assists in the education and growth of our teams across departments,” said Customer Service Manager Sarai McClerklin. “He is the go-to person for any question I or my team may have.”

Prior to joining the Turner Pest Control team, Wilson was a lead service technician with Rentokil Pest Control. He also is a U.S. Marine, having served from 1981 to 1988.
